Dome and Grove

YESRAD, Gallery of Contemporary Art, and The Heller Center for the Humanities, Colorado Springs, CO, 2011

Dome is a project for YESRAD, Center for Radical Positivity, that is made entirely of Ponderosa Pine saplings harvested from a fire mitigation grant in the area. It is a meditation vortex most often used by the cats for naps. Grove was created for the Gallery of Contemporary Art, Colorado Springs and was later moved to the Heller Center. It is made of Aspen saplings with a special permit from the Forrest Service to clear an overcrowded area.
