Inspired by a bun in the oven, this piece explores “thresholds” between interior and exterior, this world and another. Sunlight was reflected into the space through a wall of prismatic devices that created a spectral spectacle that changed in real time depending on the movement of the sun and cloud activity. As the color fields faded in and out with the passing clouds, projections appeared and disappeared. With the help of Team Everything, a series of performances were scheduled throughout the exhibition including a Gong Bath, performing arts, and a range of musical concerts.
